It's nice to have loose fitting casual shirts that you could wear either at the office (if you don't work at a bank, anyway) or on the patio. When I saw this burgundy garment, I had high hopes. In terms of fit and color, it is as advertised. However the fabric is a deal-breaker. When the shirt first arrived it had a chemical smell, likely an anti-fungal applied for international shipping, which meant the garment went right into the wash.Unfortunately, it took two washes to get the smell out, but even then it's just muted. Normally a synthetic fabric has the benefit of not needing ironing, but shipping creases didn't come out after two washes. What's worse is that the decorative frill on the front became bunched up and very wrinkled despite a cold wash and line dry. It isn't a stretch to imagine that wearing this around on really hot days means that it will pick up body odor as you sweat, but hold on to the stink after a wash. It's not even comfortable to wear so there's no motivation for me to wear it. That plus the need to iron out the wrinkles is a massive deal breaker - my workout shirts at least shake out the wrinkles.
